I’m a Project Engineer working on utility projects and we’ve had the Macrovan out on a few of our jobs now. Some of the sites we work on have little to no facilities nearby, so having everything there with the crew has made a massive difference.
It’s easy to drive, quick to move between sites and gives the guys somewhere to have lunch, use the toilet and get out of the heat for a bit. It also means we’re not losing time with people having to leave site just to find basic facilities.

I had the experience of a demonstration of the new Macrovan today, To be honest it blew me away…This vehicle can be used for many different industries that work remotely or not..

We used the macro van in recent watermain renewal projects in Brisbane. The van proved to be a great addition to the site setup, easy to use and good to have a place for supervisors and crews to sit and eat + do some office based works during shift. The toilet was also great. Given the rolling nature of our works, establishing site facilities aren’t possible so having an option like macrovan that can move from site to site super efficiently is great. We’ve been using the Macrovan across a few of our jobs in WA and have really enjoyed having it, particularly for regional and remote work.
It’s easy to drive, and having everything we need with us means we’re not constantly having to leave site for toilets, lunch or somewhere to get out of the heat. It makes a big difference to keeping up productivity and getting the job done efficiently.
The air conditioning is a lifesaver on the hot days, especially when you’re working remotely and there’s not much else around. Having somewhere comfortable to take a break, cool down and have lunch without leaving site is a massive benefit.
It’s one of those things you don’t realise how useful it is until you’ve had one on a job. It definitely helps with crew morale and makes working in remote conditions a lot more comfortable.

We recently used a Macrovan on a remote job in Wiluna and it made a huge difference on site.

Working in the heat and flies can be tough, so having somewhere clean, comfortable and air-conditioned for the crew to take a break was fantastic.

As a Supervisor, I could also use it as a site office, connect to the onboard Wi-Fi and get my work done while still keeping an eye on what was happening outside.

Great set-up for remote work, looks after the crew and keeps you connected to the job.

What a great concept, ideal for those remote, restricted space worksites, has an office, crib and bathroom in one mobile unit. Normal licence to drive and has all the mod cons first aid, running water. at first i was skeptical regarding the use of this type of site facility, with my first preference always to be a towed, self contained version. However, upon seeing this set up and utilizing it on a small 4 month project i can safely say that this is the best thing to come into the civil construction industry in a long time. whether it be for a small semi permanent site office, a small break room or even a mobile QA van, the macrovan is the perfect thing for jobs that have moving/mobile work fronts. i will continue to use these over a towed unit for the foreseeable future.
