As the founders of Saltire Infrastructure, Cailean MacLellan and Barry Crowley understand the chalenges of delivering complex work in remote and high-risk environments. From long days on construction and infrastructure sites, they saw first-hand how important it is to look after the people doing the work.
That’s why they created MacroVan—a modern welfare solution designed to support crews with clean, compliant, and comfortable facilities on site. By investing in well-designed, self-contained welfare vans, MacroVan helps teams stay safe, productive, and within regulatory standards—no matter how remote the project.

Cailean MacLellan | Managing Director & Founder
With 18 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure across Australia and Europe, Cailean specializes in innovative solutions for mains replacement, construction, and commissioning. His hands-on understanding of field conditions ensures MacroVan provides reliable, well-designed welfare facilities that meet the real needs of crews working in demanding environments.
Barry Crowley | General Manager & Director
Barry brings over 25 years of civil industry experience, overseeing the planning, design, and construction of major infrastructure projects. Since co-founding Saltire in 2021, he has played a key role in expanding the business across Western Australia. Barry brings that same strategic vision to MacroVan—ensuring every welfare unit is backed by practical thinking, industry insight, and a commitment to quality on every site.
